Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrifying member which does not cause decrease in charges in a high-temp. and high-humidity environment, does not cause abnormal increase in charges at a low-temp. and in low-humidity environment and shows higher adhesion strength to an electrifying member. SOLUTION: This member has a copolymer resin coating film containing a monomer component of organopolysiloxane expressed by the general formula. The core surface of the carrier has a coating film of a copolymer resin containing a monomer component of organopolysiloxane expressed by the general formula. The sleeve has a coating layer of a copolymer resin containing a monomer component of organopolysiloxyane expressed by the general formula on the surface of a conductive base body. In the formula, R is a hydrogen atom or methyl group, R is 1 to 12C bivalent hydrocarbon group which may be interrupted by an oxygen atom, R is 1 to 6C univalent hydrocarbon group, m is an integer 1 to 3, and n is an integer 20 to 200.
