Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the penetration of a small diameter coil to a large diameter coil in an impact condition and the like, and the removal of the engagement of a coil spring to the outer tube, in a torque limiter of housing the coil spring which is composed by providing a connection between the small diameter coil and the large diameter coil between the inner tube and the outer tube, winding the above small diameter coil on the outer diameter surface of the inner tube, engaging a hook at the small diameter side to the outer tube, and engaging a hook at the large diameter side to a blocking lid at the opening end of the outer tube. SOLUTION: In periphery 16 at the first round having the starting end at a small diameter coil 7 to compose the connection 9 of a coil spring, its inner peripheral edge 17 is in the width Wa of the wire line of the small diameter coil 7, the inner peripheral edges 21 and 24 of a part or the full periphery of the peripheries 19 and 23 at the second round or later are in the width W1 of the wire line of a periphery 16 before one round, and at the same time, the outer peripheral edge 18 is in the width Wb of the large diameter 8, and when observed in the axial direction, a clearance between the small diameter coil 7 and the large diameter coil 8 is blocked, so as to prevent the input of the small diameter coil 7 to the large diameter coil 8 by the existence of the above connection 9.
