Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically set a photographic mode in accordance with a state of a signal processing circuit, to prevent an erroneous operation and to improve operability by automatically changing photographic modes of a moving image and a still picture. SOLUTION: When a position in a decision range of an output color difference signal R-Y of a color difference signal generating circuit 505 is outside the range, this device is set to a moving image mode, image memory 511 is set to a through state and an inversion operation of a negative-positive inversion circuit 513 is turned off so that there may be no negative-positive inversion. When the signal R-Y is within the range and the position of an output color difference signal B-Y of the circuit 505 is outside the decision range, a moving image photographic mode is selected and the same processing is performed. When it is inside the range, a still picture photographic mode is picked up. When a trigger is tuned on, the memory 511 is set to a still picture fetching wait state and negative-positive inversion is carried out by turning on the inversion operation of the circuit 513 through a control signal 512 that is outputted by a camera control circuit 507. That is, when it is detected that a negative film is photographed, a still picture photographic mode is automatically selected. |
