Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve slidability, coating adhesion and corrosion resistance after coating the surface of a metal by incorporating specified amounts of organic polymer compound contg. nitrogen atoms, phosphate ions and Al ions into a metallic surface treating agent. SOLUTION: This metallic surface treatment agent has a water dispersible or emmlsifiable form and is prepd. by incorporating an organic high polymer compound contg. at least one or more nitrogen atoms or the salt thereof by 0.01 to 10g/L, 0.01 to 0.8g/L phosphate ions and 0.01 to 0.5g/L aluminum ions. The organic high polymer compound in the treating agent has at least one or more kinds of resin skeletons among epoxy resin, acrylic resin, urethane resin, phenol resin, olefin resin and amide resin and has functional groups shown by formula I or II. The aluminum ions promote the formation of dense and uniform organic coating film. Thus, the desired organic coating film can be formed with the low phosphate ion concn. |
