Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition excellent in temperature-proof and vibration-proof characteristics at the ordinary temperature to high temperatures and in low temperature characteristics and useful for producing engine mounts for automobiles by blending a nitrile group-containing unsaturated copolymer with an isoprene rubber. SOLUTION: This vibration-proof rubber composition contains (A) 50-95wt.% of an isoprene rubber and (B) 5-50wt.% of a nitrile group-containing unsaturated copolymer rubber as rubber components. The component A is preferably an isoprene rubber having a Mooney viscosity ML4 of approximately 50-100, especially natural rubber, polyisoprene rubber, etc., and the component B is preferably butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer rubber, etc. A sulfur-donating compound such as sulfur, etc., may further be added. |
