Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate a large amount of polluted water by centrifugal force of a continuous centrifugal separator used for the oil separation or the like from fresh water, seawater or the like. SOLUTION: Polluted water 42 is fed into an inner cylinder 22 on a central section of a rotating cylinder 21, and the water is passed through a plurality of passing holes 22a and fed into annular chambers 23 and rotated by a driving section 30 to separate a high density liquid 35 to the outside and a low density liquid 34 to the inside by the centrifugal force. The liquids 35 and 34 are passed through passing holes 24a and 24b, respectively and fed into a high density liquid chamber 25 and a low density liquid chamber 26 and drained outside by a high density liquid scooping pipe 40 and a low density liquid scooping pipe 41. Liquid level position sensors 37a and 37b for sensing respectiveLy the liquid levels 43a and 43b are provided in the chambers 25 and 26, and sensing signals are inputted into a controller, and openings of the scooping pipes 40 and 41 are moved to proper positions to control the discharge amount. The liquids separated by centrifugal force are separated to the upper section by gravity to improve the degree of separation and discharge the liquids continuously to the outside by the scooping pipes.
