Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain backflow of drain water to the inside of a cabin by closing a drain hose to discharge drain water attached on an indoor commutator by opening and closing means at the time when the outdoor pressure becomes higher that the indoor pressure. SOLUTION: A receiver 8 receives a transmission signal from a transmitter and inputs this received signal to an electric control device 6 on the car direction front side rather than a gate way of a tunnel (entrance seen from an electric railcar S) at the time when the electric railcar S proceeds to the inside of the tunnel. Consequently, it is judged that the electric railcar S enters the tunnel, that is, the external pressure suddenly becomes higher than the internal pressure, accordingly, pressure relaxation devices 31, 32 are driven and controlled (control at the time when the external pressure is higher than the internal pressure), time counting by a timer 61 is started, and control is carried out by the electric control device 6 so as to close a drain hose 20 by a solenoid valve 21. Consequently, it is possible to prevent backflow of drain water to be discharged out of a cabin from the drain hose into the inside of the cabin.
