Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the incident efficiency, toward a light guide plate, of the light emitted from a reflective type light source without providing any exclusively used part in the case of back-light using the reflective type light source. SOLUTION: This device 19 is provided with a light guide plate 9 for leading an incident light beam from an incident surface 12 to a luminous surface 13, a reflective type light source 14 having an opening 17 for emitting light, while being formed in a slender shape along the axial direction of a bulb 15 in a cylindrical shape, a light dispersion sheet 24 extendingly installed as if covering the opening 17 of the reflective type light source 14, and a reflective sheet 23 fixed on a surface on the opposite side of the luminous surface 13 of the light guide plate 9 and extendingly installed as if covering the opening the opening 17 of the reflective type light source 14. In such a way like this, out of the light beams emitted from the opening 17, any light beam shifted out of the incident surface 12 of the light guide plate 9 is made to reflect on the reflective sheet 23 or a light dispersion sheet 24 and can be guided to the incident surface 12, thereby, an incident light efficiency to the light guide plate 9 and the light emitting surface brightness of a back-light 22 are enhanced without providing any exclusively used part.
