Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition which can give a molded sliding member having an excellent dimensional accuracy, excellent sliding characteristics under low-load low-speed conditions (low PV conditions) and having good mechanical properties and heat stability. SOLUTION: This composition is prepared by mixing 100 pts.wt. amorphous resin having a glass transition temperature of 140 deg.C or above, such as at least one resin selected among polycarbonates, polysulfones, polyether imides, polyarylates and modified polyphenylene ethers, with 5-100 pts.wt. conductive filler and 5-120 pts.wt. at least one compound selected among oxides, peroxides, compound oxides and carbonates of group IA or IIA metals in the periodic table, such as at least one compound selected among talc, wollastonite, dolomite, magnesium oxide and potassium titanate.
