Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiator with a broad frequency band or a double frequency band with a wide operating band and a small loss by placing an upper disk radiator on a dielectric post so as to configure an upper parasitic radiator not fed through a field probe. SOLUTION: A phased array antenna includes a plurality of unit cells. Each unit cell has two cylindrical dielectric posts. For example, one unit cell has a lower dielectric post 62A and an upper dielectric post 62B. Both the posts have an equal diameter D, and the lower dielectric post 62A is manufactured by a material having a high dielectric constant E1 and a height t1 and placed on a ground plane 64. On the other hand, the upper dielectric post 62B is manufactured by a material having a low dielectric constant E2 and a height t2 . Then an upper disk radiator 66B forms a parasitic radiator not fed through a feed probe and is tuned to a high frequency. Thus, the frequency band covers from a low to a high frequencies.
