Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration generated during operation of a compressor mounted on an air conditioner. SOLUTION: A vibration reducing device is provided with a power converter 5 for converting DC voltage from a DC power part 4 into AC power of variable frequency, an induction motor 1 of an air conditioner controlled in rotating speed by the power converter 5, a voltage fluctuation detecting part 6 for converting the change of energy, exchanged between the DC power part 4 and the power converter 5, into voltage change, a voltage fluctuation portion detecting part 10 taking out only an alternating component of the voltage fluctuation detecting part 6 and comparing it with average voltage to output pulse corresponding to a large part and a small part, and a waveform computing part 15 increasing or decreasing the basic frequency command value if necessary according to the length of pulse outputted from the voltage fluctuation portion detecting part 10 and its timing and outputting the output value to the power converter 5. Vibration of a compressor during operation in the air conditioner can thereby be reduced.
