Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and correctly arrange an antenna to face towards a satellite by generating a display signal, based on the measured result of an estimated error rate and setting the direction of the antenna into a direction where the error rate, indicated by means of the generated display signal, becomes smallest. SOLUTION: A control means 409 reads a value which indicates the estimated error rate from a comparing part 433. When the direction of the antenna is changed, the radio of the carrier and the noise (C/N ratio) of the received electric wave is changed, so that the estimated error rate obtained by the comparing part 433 is changed. The control means 409 controls OSD(on-screen display) after reading the estimation error rate, so as to display the value which indicates the estimated error rate in the screen of TV 410. Thus, it is recognized by what degree of C/N electric wave from the satellite is received at the time of arranging the antenna, so that the antenna is easily directed to the direction for which the C/N becomes most optimum, that is, the estimated error rate becomes smallest.
