Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the wear resistance of a surface without deteriorating smooth nailing properties and an outward appearance when this decorative laminated sheet is used as the top sheet for a pachinko machine by blending water-soluble melamine resin varnish with which a decorative paper is impregnated with glass powder of a specific particulate diameter with the surface treated by a silane coupling agent. SOLUTION: A melamine resin decorative laminated sheet best suited for the top plate of a pachinko machine is formed by blending a water-soluble melamine resin varnish with which a decorative paper is impregnated, with glass powder of a particulate diameter of 5-15μm with the surface treated by a silane coupling agent. The melamine resin decorative laminated sheet for the top sheet of the pachinko machine requires surface luster finish. For this purpose, glass powder is best suited for obtaining a transparent appearance compared to a translucent filler such as alumina. To realize the transparency and the feeling of a printed paper, however, the most appropriate blending amount of the glass powder is 1.0-5.0 pts.wt. a good example of the silane coupling agent is epoxy silane.
