Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact anti skid controller by prohibiting operation of an oil pressure working on a front wheel in a pressure reducing/increase pattern further when a pressure reducing/increasing pattern time from a control start of an oil pressure working on a front wheel reaches the predetermined time or more. SOLUTION: For opening pressure reducing valves 31-34 or pressure increasing valves 21-24, a pressure reducing/increasing pattern time for front wheels FR, FL during antiskid control is measured on the basis of a time in which a control signal is transmitted from an electronic control unit 19 while in the case of a pressure increasing pattern, no control signal is transmitted. When the time becomes the predetermined time or more, an oil pressure working on the front wheels FR, FL is prohibited from being operated in the pressure reducing/ increasing pattern further. As a result, in a terminal stage of the antiskid control, inflow of brake fluid to a discharge reservoir 6a can be restricted, so that the discharge reservoir 6a can be compactified. On the other hand, outflow of the brake fluid from a master cylinder 1 can be also restricted, and the master cylinder 1 can be also miniaturized.
