Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for processing terminals of high-frequency coaxial cables, capable of stripping housing sheaths reliably and stably by a specified distance from their end face. SOLUTION: An apparatus for processing the terminals of high-frequency coaxial cables comprises a guide cylinder 7 into which an end of a high-frequency coaxial cable 1 is to be inserted and along which the circumference of its housing sheath 2 is slid, an L-shaped cutting edge 8 for sheath stripping attached to the guide cylinder 7 on its end face 7a side, and a shaft member having a contact face 29b that is to be brought into contact with the end face of the high-frequency coaxial cable 1 and thereby controls the length H of the housing sheath 2 to be stripped. By the rotation of the guide cylinder 7 around is axis, the first portion 15 of the cutting edge 8 for sheath stripping cuts the housing sheath 2 spiral, and further, a second portion 16 of the cutting edge 8 for sheath stripping separates the housing sheath 2 from the outer conductor outward. |
