Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve effect on the removal of matter sticking to a magnetic head, in a device for cleaning the magnetic head loaded on a rotary head device. SOLUTION: Cleaning is performed in such a grinding manner as a head cleaning roller 31, which is freely rotatably supported by the shaft in a magnetic head cleaning device, is formed by laminating a large number of grinding sheets 32 in the shaft direction of the roller core, and is interposingly rollingly brought into contact with the projection of the magnetic head H which is loaded on the rotary drum 2 of a rotary head device 5.
