Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional assembly coil component, such as a transformer, which is suitable for a multiple-product and small-lot production basis, can simplify a complicated process and moreover, eliminates the waste of terminal spaces and can be manufactured into a small size and at low cost. SOLUTION: A plurality of winding modules 1a to in, which respectively have a core insertion hole 8d in their central parts, are stacked and magnetic cores 2a and 2b are incorporated in the stacked aggregate to constitute a coil component. Terminals 6 of each of the modules la to 1n are arranged within the projection surfaces of the aggregate and the cores 2a and 2b to a mounting substrate of the coil component in the form of matrix. Moreover, the terminals 6 are selectively mounted to a plurality of terminal mounting parts 10 provided linearly on each of insulative winding bases 4 constituting the modules 1a to 1n at prescribed intervals.
