PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to selectively display arbitrary characters or graphics, etc., by respectively driving the LEDs of plural display systems provided with LED mounting parts in a matrix form in such a manner that these parts are arranged in a zigzag form by alternately sorting the LED mounting parts. SOLUTION: The LED panel 1 used for the LED display device for making emissive display of the characters, graphics, etc., is formed with the LED mounting parts 3a, 3b in the matrix form. The LEDs 8 are package in these mounting parts 3a, 3b according to the display contents. The LED panel 1 is provided with the LED mounting parts 3a, 3b of the display systems 2, 4 in such a manner that these parts are arranged in the zigzag form by alternately sorting the LED mounting parts 3a, 3b to a row direction and a column direction. The panel is provided with circuits for driving the LEDs 8 packaged in the respective display systems 2, 4, respectively. As a result, the drawing around of the circuit patterns without intersecting the display systems 2, 4 with each other is made possible and the selective lighting display of the two arbitrary characters or graphics, etc., is made possible.
