Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition capable of providing a coated membrane excellent in appearance, curing property, weatherability and mechanical and physical properties by blending an aliphatic dibasic acid, a compound containing a hydroxy group and a specific compound with a copolymerized material consisting of specific components. SOLUTION: This resin composition for a powder coating contains as indispensable components (A) a vinyl-based polymer containing an epoxy group obtained by copolymerizing a polymerizable monomer having an epoxy group in its molecule as an indispensable raw material component, (B) an aliphatic dibasic acid (e.g. decane dicarboxylic acid), (C) a compound having at least one hydroxyl group in one molecule and (D) a compound having at least one organic group of formula I or formula II (R1 is -CH2 - or -CH2 CH2 -; R2 is H or a 1-12C alkyl). Further, as the component A, it is preferable to use a copolymer obtained by copolymerizing a polymerizable monomer of formula III (R3 , R4 are each H or methyl) as an indispensable raw material component and having approximately 1000-15000 number averaged molecular weight and approximately 80-150 deg.C softening point (by the ring and ball method). |
