Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy in the threashold value of control speed of a brake pedal accroding to drivers by settling the threashold value based on the characteristic coeficient computed from the average pressing down speed and quantity of brake pedal, and controlling the start of braking operation through comparison with the pressing down speed of the brake pedal. SOLUTION: A pressing down quantity of pedal in a brake pedal pressing down quantity detection means 203 is sent to average brake pedal pressing down quantity detection means 209 and brake pedal presssing down speed computing means 208. Then it is supplied to average brake pedal pressing down speed computing means 210 through a brake pedal pressing down speed computing means 208 based on an elapsed time by time detection means 205 via brake pedal operation times computing means 204. The results of computation by computation means 209, 210 is sent to threashold computing means 213 by characteristic coefficient computing means 212 and registered in first threashold setting means 214. Comparison is made by threashold determination means 215 and control is made by automatic braking process control means 216. |
