Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out the automatic fractionation with good fractionating accuracy by fractionating and removing magnetic dust out of shredder dust, fractionating screen penetrable dust from impenetrable dust, performing a spe cific gravity fractionation, crushing light dust, and performing a specific gravity fractionation of the dust containing wire harness successively in this order. SOLUTION: Shredder dust 1 is fractionated into three groups, namely magnetic matters, non-magnetic matters and non-ferrous metals such as Cu and others in an eddy current fractionaing process 2. Non-magnetic dust is screened into the given sizes by a screen 3, and the dust containing glass is transferred to a rotating screen 4. The dust containing impenetrable wire harness is passed through a specific gravity fractionating process 8, a crushing process 9, a vibration screening process 10 and a specific gravity fractionation process 11 and fractionated into copper wires 12, rubber and the like. The dust containing glass is processed by the rotating screen 4, a sliding way fractionator 5 and a penetrating type fractionator 6 and fractionated into glass 7, rubber, resin and the like.
