Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the size of a transmission reception filter small, to reduce the cost, to reduce the power consumption of a transmission section and to improve the sensitivity of a reception section by configuring the attenuation pole of 1st and 2nd frequency variable band elimination filters to be changed in a designated transmission reception channel frequency. SOLUTION: The telephone set is provided with a reception section 1 demodulating and outputting the output from a reception filter 1, a transmission section 2 inputting a transmission signal modulated by a voice signal to a transmission filter 32, and a control section 4 designating a reception channel and a transmission channel frequency from a base station to control the processing to the reception section 1 and the transmission section 2. Frequency variable band elimination filters(BEF) are adopted for the reception filters 31, 32 and when an operating channel is designated by a base control station, the control section 4 outputs control signals a, b corresponding to the designation signal and given to the transmission reception filters 31, 32 of a multicoupler 3 to change the frequency of an attenuation pole to a frequency corresponding to the transmission reception operating channels.
