Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten exposure time even when a background is dark by exposing the background by moving a diaphragm to an open side after a flashing device emits light in the midst of exposure. SOLUTION: This lens shutter is equipped with the flashing device 105, a 1st sector 10 opening an exposure aperture part, a 2nd sector 20 closing the exposure aperture part after actuating the 1st sector 10, and the diaphragm 30 which can be set to an optional aperture diameter; and constituted so that the diaphragm 30 is moved to the open side after the flashing device 105 emits the light in the midst of exposure. Namely, after the diaphragm is set to a diaphragm value decided in accordance with the guide number of a stroboscope and a photographing distance, exposure operation is started, and then the stroboscope 105 emits the light, furthermore, the diaphragm 30 is actuated in an opening direction after the stroboscope 105 emits the light. Thus, the exposure time for appropriately exposing the background is shortened, for instance, even in the case a distance to a subject is comparatively short and the background is dark.
