Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of lubricating shortage of a compressor due to congestion of refrigerant and lubricating oil in a refrigerant circuit of a rear part air conditioning unit at the time of setting single operation of a front part air conditioning unit in a dual type air conditioner for a vehicle. SOLUTION: A solenoid valve 85 to pass and stop a refrigerant flow to an evaporator 83 of a rear part air conditioning unit 8 toair-condition a rear part side of a car room is furnished in a low pressure refrigerant piping 9 on the side of the rear part air conditioning unit 8, and this solenoid valve 85 is opened only for a specified period of time by a control device at the time when single operation of a front part air conditioning unit 7 is set. Consequently, even at the time of single operation of the front part air conditioning unit 7, refrigerant of a refrigerating cycle A also flows to a refrigerant circuit on the side of the rear part air conditioning unit 8. It is possible to forcibly discharge congested refrigerant and congested lubricating oil to the suction side of a compressor 4 by this refrigerant circulation. Consequently, it is possible to solve lubricating shortage of the compressor 4 by increasing the amount of lubricating oil sucked in the compressor 4.
