PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve plate wearability, unstainable property of non-image areas, and hardness of generation of fine dots when printing is stopped, by providing a photosensitive composition layer on a support body and forming the support body out of an aluminum plate which is roughened and anodized and has a surface having a specified range of total area of a diagram to be formed specifically. SOLUTION: A support body is formed of an aluminum plate comprising a pure aluminum plate. The aluminum plate is roughened and anodized and a photosensitive composition layer is provided. As for its surface state, a reference linear line is drawn in parallel with the center line of the roughness at 1μm below from a top of a mountain which is third in height of a two-dimensional surface roughness curve having a measured wavelength of 0.5mm. The total area of the diagram to be formed by the reference linear line and the roughness curve higher than the reference linear line is set to 50-150μm . The roughening treatment and anodization treatment are not particularly limited, but a mechanical roughening method and an electrochemical roughening method can be used for the roughening treatment.
