SOLUTION: A-758491 of the formula or its salt. The compound of the formula has the following physical and chemical properties: properties: pale yellow powder; molecular formula: C30 H18 O10 (determined by high-resolution mass spectroscopy); molecular weight: 538 (mass spectrometry); solubility: soluble in methanol, ethanol, acetone, dimethyl sulfoxide and benzene, insoluble in water, chloroform, diethyl ether, ethyl acetate; color reaction: positive to sulfuric acid and iodine. The compound of the formula is obtained by aerobically culturing SANK 60695 strain.
