PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of planning and modification work of a production schedule and make even any person other than a trained one conduct the work by fitting a function for judging production schedule planning and modification and/or a function for reinforcing Gantt chart display and edition. SOLUTION: This system contains data bases 21-30 which store a product order data, sales planning data, product stock data, and product attribute data, and Gantt chart display and edition means 40, and is provided with an out-of- stock order operation display means 50 which calculates estimated stock of products and displays a name list of products in the out-of-stock order. A schedule bar is added or inserted on the Gantt chart, the out-of-stock order operation display means calculates the estimated stock after adding or inserting operation into the Gantt chart to up-date an out-of-stock order display automatically. It is thus possible to change a display period of the Gantt chart to a prescribed display period by one-touch operation, put batch numbers automatically, and color-classify the schedule bars.
