Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistance thermal fuse which efficiently transfers the heat of a resistor to a fusible body and precisely operates to interrupt a circuit by forming the resistor, a base and the fusible body so as to be closely adhered to each other. SOLUTION: A first structure having a pair of electrodes 10, 10 and a resistor 11 for bringing them on the plane of a first base 9, and a second structure having metal layers 12, 12 and notched part for exposing the electrodes 10, 10 of the first base 9 are superposed and integrally formed followed by sintering. A fusible body and a lead wire are fixed onto the metal layers 12, 12 of the resulting structure by soldering or by the use of a conductive paste, a lead wire is similarly fixed onto the electrodes 10, 10, and the fusible body and the lead wires are partially covered with resin, whereby a resistance thermal fuse is completed. |
