Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-support type optical cable which makes pull-down operation efficient. SOLUTION: A support member 1 supports a storage member 2 along the length across a neck part 3. The storage part 2 is almost in a horseshoe shape or inverted U shape which having its lower part partially open along the length. A plurality of optical cables 5 are stored in the internal space 2a. Blocking members 4 provided between the lower ends 2 of the right and left side walls are provided intermittently at proper intervals along the length of the self- support type cable and hold the optical cable 5 so that the optical cable is not slackened out. An open part is formed between adjacent blocking members 4. Each blocking member 4 is provided with a cut 4a along the length and can be opened and closed at this part. |
