Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform waste water treatment of a higher order in a device which is provided with an active sludge tank and a membrane separator arranged therein and by which liquid to be treated is subjected to aerobic treatment and to solid-liquid separation by suction filtration through a membrane by using a tank containing active carbon as the active sludge tank. SOLUTION: This waste water treating device for subjecting waste water of severe coloring and odor to aerobic treatment has an active sludge tank 1 containing active carbon 8 into which waste water to be treated is fed. In the tank 1, a membrane module 3 connected to a suction pump 4 is housed, and also, a diffuser 5 connected to a blower 6 is provided. In this way, waste water is subjected to solid-liquid separation by the membrane module 3, and the separated liquid is discharged as treated water 9 through a disinfection tank 2. The solid matter is discharged to outside the tank 1 by a withdrawal pump 10. By thus constituting the active sludge tank 1 from that containing active carbon, the biological active carbon increases organic matter decomposition power and restrains the clogging of the membrane module 3. |
