Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproducing device capable of preventing the omission of reproducing data caused by a decoding error by switching the operation of a disk rotation control means to a rotary servo operation using read recording data according to the occurrence of a decoding operation failure. SOLUTION: A clock for a linear speed constant(CLV) servo for rotating a disk 1 is generated as an EFM signal in an arithmetic processing part 7a or a GCK signal in a group processing part 7b based on information detected by an optical head 3 from the disk 1. When a decoding error correction is impossible during a reproducing operation in which the disk 1 is rotated by the CLV servo by the GCK signal, a system controller, not shown, performs reading and retrying of data by a specified number of times and even when an error correction is still impossible, the controller issues a switching signal SG and switches to the CLV servo by the EFM signal via a switch 9a. Thus, the omission of reproducing data is prevented. |
