Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform a bending process, and minimize the flattening and deformation of a soft copper tube by machining the external surface thereof for corrugation to the prescribed values of a corrugation pitch and indentation, regarding a sprinkler piping material used for the piping of a fire extinguishing sprinkler system. SOLUTION: This sprinkler piping material 1 used for a sprinkler piping system as a fire extinguishing facility for a building is a soft copper tube 2 having a corrugation formed on the external surface thereof to a corrugation pitch of 5mm and indentation of 1mm, and cap nuts 3 are fitted to both ends of the soft copper tube 2. Also, the piping material 1 has a connection adapter 11 and an L-shaped head adapter 4 jointed between a main pipe 12 for firefighting water and each sprinkler head 5 via the cap nuts 3. In this case, the piping material 1 is corrugated over the entire length thereof, thereby enabling a worker to bend the piping material 1 to a Z-shape at a construction site. |
