Summary:PURPOSE: To quickly, efficiently, continuously, and accurately measure the atmospheric pressure at a location for measurement by continuously miring an atmospheric pressure distribution based on pressure taken from a pilot tube while driving a measurement vehicle where the pitot tube is installed on the ceiling of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A pitot tube 2 is installed on the ceiling of the body of a measurement vehicle 1 mounting one set of instruments for miring pressure, the dynamic pressure of air detected by the pitot tube 2 is measured by a differential pressure meter 3 while driving the measurement vehicle 1 at a location to be measured, for example, within a tunnel for the vehicle with a ventilation facility, the dynamic pressure is converted to a digital value through a data logger 6, and it is inputted to a computer 7 along with a static pressure measured by a barometer 4. The computer 7 inputs a driving speed when measuring pressure from a speedometer 5 to obtain the traveling distance of the measurement vehicle land obtains the atmospheric pressure distribution at each point along a driving path with a measurement starting point as a reference point, thus continuously and efficiently measuring the atmospheric pressure distribution, for example, in a tunnel while driving the vehicle.
