Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform acceleration by multiplexedly processing instructions when synchronous type input/output instructions are issued from plural instruction processors. SOLUTION: The instruction processor 1 which acquires an activation information storage area 8 stores activation information in the area 8 and stores identification information (an instruction processor number) in the area 10. The instruction processor 1 performs input/output activation through an interface controller 2 to an input/output processor 4. The input/output processor 4 returns an activation response, activates a channel 6 and a device and reports input/output interruption. Thus, an interface 2 and a channel path 5 are opened and the activation of the input/output instruction from the other processor 1 is made possible. Until the input/output processor 4 writes the report of an end to a storage area 11 corresponding to the instruction processor 1, the instruction processor 1 polls the storage area 11. |
