Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct a culture of abalone, sea urchin, scallop, noble scallop, etc., by making use of the fallow period of the subject facility. SOLUTION: In early spring when an algal field/sea jungle is needed, main ropes preferentially inoculated with spawns for forcing culture of quick-growing northern type large-sized sea alga tangle are immobilized at 2-5m deep under the sea level to construct a typical large-scale culture facility, i.e., a tangle algal field/sea jungle. In the fallow period of the facility, abalone, sea urchin, scallop, noble scallop, etc., are cultured by vertically suspending and fixing the main ropes at a length of 10-20m.
