Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the nonvolatile memory built-in controller in which data can be surely written in a nonvolatile memory. SOLUTION: An IG switch 12 and a check device 13 having a writer function of outputting an ID code for write as required are connected to a specific terminal 1a of a controller 1. When a microcomputer 2 decides a changeover switch 6a to be closed, the check device 13 writes an ID code given to an input port Rx to an EEPROM 3 via the changeover switch 6a.
