Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a charge acceptance by making the contact area of an electrifying body with a body to be electrified large and to prevent abnormal sound from being caused by resonance vibration. SOLUTION: A conductive member constituted of an insulating sheet 15 and a flexible cloth-like conductive member 13 disposed on the outer periphery of the insulating sheet 15 is connected to an electric conductor 11 connected to a power source 16. In the insulating sheet 15, a projected part, 150 is formed in a surface facing a photosensitive material 17 and the cloth-like conducive member 13 covering the insulating sheet 15 comes into surface contact with the photosensitive material 17, in such a manner that the surface facing the photosensitive material 17 is used as a horizontal plane 130. The contact surface 130 of the conductive member 13 is kept in its shape by the insulating sheet 15 from the inside, to come into contact with the surface of the photosensitive material 17 in a wide range.
