Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a rotary electromagnetic actuator in its radial and axial directions which rotates its rotary shaft by magnetic fields generated round its core member and magnet which are positioned to oppose to each other, by arranging the core member on the axis of the rotary shaft. SOLUTION: A core member 17 is arranged to oppose to a pair of sector magnets disposed on one side of a rotary shaft. The core member 17 is constituted by a first stem core 18, a second stem core 21 and a plate core 24. A stem body 19 of the first stem core 18 is wound with a positive coil and a stem body 22 of the second stem core 21 is wound with a reverse coil. When a current is applied to the coils, magnetic fields of different polarities are generated round a sector body 20 of the first stem core 18 and a sector body 23 of the second stem core 21 respectively. The semicylindrical shape of the stem bodies 19 and 22 permits the winding of a positive coil and a reverse coil therearound respectively utilizing its space to thus miniaturize the core member 17. |
