Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent coffee grounds from adhering to and remaining on the inner wall of a brewing cylinder by internally providing a cylindrical vessel with a device for feeding the pressurized air, and operating the device after brewing coffee. SOLUTION: A control device is provided and after hot water is forced out, the pressurized air residual in the hot water supply cylinder 4a of a pressurized hot water supply device is forced out therefrom on the operation of a hot water supply piston 4b. The pressurized air is thereby fed to a brewing cylinder 7. At the same time, filter paper 10 and a filter support 8 with a built-in plate type filter 9 are actuated with a drive device, and part from the brewing cylinder 7. As a result, coffee grounds in the brewing cylinder 7 are forced out therefrom, due to the pressure of the supplied pressurized air, and drop on the filter paper 10. Also, the coffee grounds in a lump state are evenly pressed with the pressurized air, and forced out from the brewing cylinder 7, with the lump status maintained. According to this construction, the inner wall of the brewing cylinder 7 is free from a concern about the deposition of the coffee grounds after the removal thereof.
