Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a the magnetic field switch for detecting the position of a piston, which can detect the arbitrary elevating position of the piston without adjusting its mounting position. SOLUTION: The magnetic field switch is equipped with plate shaped movable contacts 15a which are magnetized to the magnetic polarity repulsive when faced to a magnetized piston 2a reciprocating within a cylinder 2, and are fixed thereto at its one end while being capable of being revolved, and with a stationary contact 16 disposed at a position brought in contact with the movable contacts 15a which are revolved so as to be displaced. The movable contacts 15a are lined up in plural rows along the elevating direction of the piston 2a, and concurrently the stationary contact 16 is formed into a width corresponding to the lined-up width of each movable contact 16a. An insulating sheet 10 formed with a hole 11 capable of letting each movable contact 15a pass through, is installed over paired rollers 12 in such a way as to be disposed between each movable contact 15a and the stationary contact 16.
