Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freeze sensing system capable of accurately deciding ice and water by adopting a light source having a narrow wavelength band like a semiconductor laser, comparing the reflected light amount of the specific waves of the absorption peaks of the water and ice, and improving the discriminating accuracy of the ice and water. SOLUTION: A semiconductor laser 1 of '0.905μm' of the wavelength scarcely absorbed by water and ice, a semiconductor laser 2 of '1.42μm' of the wavelength easily absorbed by the water and scarcely absorbed to the ice, and a semiconductor laser 3 of '1.55μm' of the wavelength scarcely absorbed by the water and easily absorbed by the ice are combined, on or off controlled by a personal computer(PC) capable of clearly discriminating among dry state, snowfall state, wet state and frozen state.
