Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an inspection method combining chemiluminescence of a ruthenium complex and HPLC(high precision liquid chromatography) for a wide range of medicines by arranging a secondary or tertiary amine given by a specified formula having a functional group condensable between desired compounds to be contained in a reagent. SOLUTION: A secondary or tertiary amine is contained as given by the formula having a functional group condensable between desired compounds is contained into a reagent to detect by chromatography the desired compounds in the reagent by ruthenium complex chemiluminescence. In the formula, R1 and R2 are each a lower alkyl or aliphatic heterocyclic ring that may be formed, R3 is H or a lower alkyl, A is a lower alkylene, B is a lower alkylene bonding to carbon atoms composing a heterocyclic ring or a single bond thereof, X is a lower alkylene that allows interposing of a heterocyclic atom and Y is amino group or hydroxy group. The desired compounds are preferably those especially selected from among a carboxylic acid, a primary amine and an alcohol.
