Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition having excellent storage stability and free from the problem of the decomposition of a hypochlorite even by storing over a long period under severe condition by compounding a hypochlorite, a phthalocyanine pigment and a specific compound. SOLUTION: This composition contains (A) 0.1-13wt.% of a hypochlorite, (B) 0.00001-0.01wt.% of a (halogenated)phthalocyanine pigment [preferably a compound of the formula C32 H16-m Xm N8 M' (X is Cl; (m) is 0-16; M' is Cu] and (C) 0.01-10wt.% of a compound of the formula R O(AO)n R [A is a 1-4C straight or branched-chain alkylene; (n) is 3-20; R and R are each CH2 CH2 CN, benzyl, etc.; R is a group of the formula, Cx H2x+1 , etc., when R is Cx H2x+1 ((x) is 1-18)]. The component C is preferably e.g. a dimethylpolyethylene glycol produced by the methyl-capping of both terminals of a polyethylene glycol having a molecular weight of 300-6,000. The components B and C are preferably compounded at a ratio of give a C/B weight ratio of 10-1,000.
