Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heighten wire drawing speed by forming a V-shape groove for guiding a wire, in a guide capstan. SOLUTION: A metal wire 8 is delivered from a bus-line bobbin 7 and drawn by a die 6 through a guide capstan rotated in assocition with the rotation of a driving capstan 4. A final finished wire is obtained by a finishing die 9 via a guide roller 11 and wound around a finishing bobbin 10, and the wound end part is fixed. A V-shape groove 12 is formed in the guide capstan 5, and the passing wire 8 is all constrained by the V-shape groove 12. Drawing of extra fine wire can thereby performed at high speed without being influenced by lubricant.
