Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to improve the assembling operation by providing a plurality of protrusions on the outer surface of the vicinity of the upper end of a substantially cylindrical bell mouth, and fixing a fan guard to the protrusions, thereby conducting screw clamping for fixing from the side of an outdoor unit body. SOLUTION: A bell mouth 4 is formed at the lower end substantially cylindrical state flared toward downward, and a base plate 4a is provided at the outer periphery of the lower end. Four protrusions 15 are disposed at an equal interval circumferentially on the outer periphery of the vicinity of the upper end. A fan guard 5 has an upper surface 5a and a side face 5b flared toward downward being integrally molded by using a metal wire material. The outer end faces of the protrusions 15 are formed in the same oblique surface as the side face 5b of the guard 5. Extended part of the same inclination is integrally formed at the lower end of the side face 5b of the guard 5, aligned with the protrusions 15 and clamped by screws. The screws of the guard 5 are provided laterally, and hence the screw clamping can be conducted from the side of the outdoor body 1 to improve the operability.
