Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump device and its pipe connecting method which can mutually connect the pump device and its piping without using a flange. SOLUTION: The side face of the pump base 9 of a pump device 1 is severally provided with an opened part to communicate with a plurality of water passing pathes, and pipe parallel internal thread parts 12a, 12b which are united with the pump base 1 for connecting with external piping are severally formed in each water passing path inside each opened part. A seal tape is wound around each pipe taper external thread part formed on external piping, and each pipe taper external thread part is screwed in the pipe parallel internal thread parts 12a, 12b to connect the pump device 1 with piping without using a flange.
