PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable communicating pipe members for respective snorkels to be inserted and held even if the outlines of the communicating pipe members somewhat differ from each other in a holder holding a snorkel with a strap of a diving face mask by onstituting the holder from an elastic material and providing insert holes having long and short diameters. SOLUTION: A holder held by a strap of a diving face mask is a plate-lik body constituted from an elastic material and consists of a pair of left and right insert holes 15 and a connecting part 16 interposed between both insert holes 15. The connecting hole 15 has a long diameter D1 extending through the center C and longitudinally of the connecting part 16 and a short diameter D2 orthogonal to the long diameter. When a communicating pipe member 9 of a snorkel 3 having the diameter slightly larger than the short diameter D2 is inserted through the insert hole, the portion and proximity thereof of the peripheral surface 15A of the hole 15 corresponding to the short diameter D2 are elastically deformed to support the member 9. However, if nenecessay, the large diameter communicating pipe member 9 which sticks almost to the whole periphery 15A may be inserted into the hole 15.
