Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cleaning effect in an electrolytic cell and a pipe line by passing a city water through the electrolytic cell and the pipe line in a state of stopping the charge of an electrolytic assistant and the impressing of voltage for electrolysis to discharge the elecholytic assistant remaining in the inside part in the generation of an ionized water by the electrolysis of water. SOLUTION: The city water from a water charging opening 2 flows in the electrolytic cell 9 and simultaneously a salt water stored in a salt water tank 10 is fed to the electrolytic cell 9 with a salt water pump 11 and joins the city water. The city water in which the salt water is charged is electrolyzed with electrodes 12 and 13, an alkaline water and an acidic water are discharged from a discharging opening 3 and a discharging opening 4, respectively. In such a case, when a salt water discharging switch is fumed to 'on' on the operation waiting, the city water is charged with a clean water valve 8 opened, next after the set time (about 10sec) in a timer elapsed, the clean water valve 8 is closed and the operation returns to the waiting state. During the period, only the city water is passed through the electrolytic cell or the pipe line to wash out the remaining salt water.
