Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the function of a system by receiving a caller identifying code after receiving a polarity reverse signal or between ring signals, generating a voice message as against the caller number and, after that, outputting the voice message at the time of detecting the succeeding ring signal. SOLUTION: CPU 10 inspects presence or absence in the detection of the polarity reverse signal(PRS) from a calling signal and a hook-off detecting part 30. When PRS is detected, CPU 10 forms a communication loop, receives FSK adding the caller identifying code, restores the loop, extracts the caller number from the caller identifying code which is received by CPU 10 with a MODEM 20 and displays it in a display device 80. CPU 10 retrieves an euphonic change extracted from a voice font memory 40, retrieves a name card list registered in the memory 50 and stores it in the memory 50. When a receiving person responds to the calling signal, CPU 10 executes communication processing procedure. When he does not respond to it, CPU 10 inspects the detection of the succeeding ring signal and transmits the voice message with a voice synthesizer 60 at the time of detection.
