Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject duct structure designed to prevent to the utmost coke powder from being intruded into a boiler through further decreasing the gas flow speed in a circulating gas duct by using conventional brick of simple shape. SOLUTION: In this duct structure equipped with an annular duct 12 around a coke cooling tower 10 and radially equipped with plural small flues 13 connected from the inner wall on the lower part of the coke cooling tower 10 to the annular ducat 12 and having a slant passage 14 and a vertical passage 15 from the lower part, the vertical passage 15 is made up of a lower vertical passage 15a radially provided with plural columnar bricks 13a at specified pitches and an upper vertical passage 15b located right above the lower vertical passage 15a and having no columnar brick. |
